Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 28 August 2026. Owen Global Multibiz Services is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our trading activities.
This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written for customers, suppliers, and visitors in Nigeria and other countries who may pay us through Paystack.
1. Who we are
Owen Global Multibiz Services is a business registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission of Nigeria. For privacy questions, email owenglobalmultibiz@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact data: name, email address, phone number, delivery or business address, and organisation name if you provide them.
- Order data: the goods you request or buy, quantities, delivery instructions, invoices, and correspondence.
- Payment data: payment status, amount, currency, date, and Paystack transaction reference. Card numbers are collected and processed by Paystack. We do not store full card details on our servers or this website.
- Website data: technical information such as browser type, device type, and pages visited if our hosting provider records standard server logs.
3. Why we use this information
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotations
- To fulfil orders, arrange supply or delivery, and provide customer support
- To process payments, issue receipts, handle refunds, and respond to disputes
- To keep records required by Nigerian law, including tax and accounting records
- To protect the business against fraud, chargebacks, and misuse
We rely on the need to perform a contract with you, our legitimate interest in running a lawful trading business, and, where required, your consent (for example when you submit the contact form).
4. Payments and Paystack
When you pay us, Paystack processes the transaction as a payment service provider. Paystack may collect additional information needed to complete the payment and to meet anti-money-laundering and card-scheme rules. Paystack’s own privacy policy applies to data it processes. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded or failed, together with a transaction reference.
5. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only when needed:
- With Paystack and banks involved in a payment, refund, or dispute
- With delivery or logistics partners when we must ship goods
- With professional advisers (for example accountants or lawyers) under confidentiality
- With regulators, law-enforcement, or courts when Nigerian law requires it
6. Retention
We keep order, invoice, and payment records for as long as Nigerian tax and commercial laws require, and then for a reasonable period in case of disputes. Enquiry messages that do not become orders are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.
7. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 you may request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion where the law allows, restriction of processing, and information about how we use your data. To make a request, email owenglobalmultibiz@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC).
8. Cookies
This website is a static business site. We do not use advertising cookies. The hosting provider may set strictly necessary cookies or logs required to serve the pages securely.
9. International visitors
If you contact us or pay from outside Nigeria, your information is processed in Nigeria and may pass through Paystack’s payment infrastructure. We take steps appropriate to a small trading business to keep that information secure.
10. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when we do.
